We are pleased to announce that we are now offering tax investigation insurance to our clients, which is backed by a policy we have taken out in our own name through Professional Fee Protection (PFP).
For an annual fee, you will be covered against the costs of us dealing with any HMRC enquiries on your behalf.
We do anticipate an increase in enquiries now that the various Covid support schemes have come to an end.
We must stress that dealing with a tax investigation is not included in our normal fees and the costs involved could be substantial. A tax investigation could last for several months, if not years, and can be extremely stressful for you. Therefore, we strongly recommend our clients subscribing to the service.
Please note that this only insures you against our fees for tax investigation work, not any tax, penalties and interest that may become due as a result of an investigation.
